Leica is set to release a limited-edition, white-colored M9-P for the Japanese market. Why in Japan, you ask? Probably because Leica thinks only the Japanese can shell off 2,620,000 yen (around $31,770), without blinking, for a camera.



Available in only 50 units, the unicorn M9-P has an upgraded spec compared to its regular versions one-fourth its cost. It comes with an insane f/0.95 50mm lens. The rest of the details remain similar to its pedestrian cousins: an 18-megapixel, full-frame 24 x 36mm sensor with 24x zoom and an interchangeable lens system.

As the December 17th TRON: LEGACY movie opening approaches, Disney Consumer Products announces the first Daft Punk-inspired TRON: LEGACY electronics and toys in collaboration with Monster Cable, and toy maker Medicom Toy. The Grammy Award-winning Daft Punk have not only composed the soundtrack for the film, they also have a cameo in the flick, and their very own new gadgets based on the duo's futuristic look.

Just like last year with the K-x, this year, Pentax Japan has customized its K-r entry level DSLR to the colors of Korejanai as well as the 35mm prime lens which also gets the same treatment. The K-r hotshoe gets the head of Korejanai robot. Unfortunately, this neat SLR will only be produced in 100 pieces and available in Japan only.

The Luxury Edition of the tablet pc comes with a leather case and Bluetooth headset, powered by Google Android 2.2 OS, a 7-inch 600 x 1024 pixels resolution display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, two cameras and a 1GHz processor.
