Motorola Droid Xoom Now Running Goofle Android HoneyComb OS

Motorola Android Tablet known as Droid Xoom now running Google Android HoneyComb operating system and will be headed to Verizon in Q1 2011. It has 10.1-inch touchscreen display with 1280 x 800 resolution, 5 megapixel rear-facing camera with 720p video recording and dual LED Flash.

The touchscreen of the device can be virtually split into two which would enable users to view two different apps side-by-side on the same touchscreen canvas. This tablet maybe coming with 4G LTE built in, but rather, hopes are that it will have available USB ports for 4G sticks instead.

Motorola Droid Xoom is boasts a 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor, 1GB DDR2 RAM, 32GB of onboard storage. A DLNA app for wireless media streaming is also included, and there’s a HDMI output for pumping 1080p video to a flatscreen. The dimension is 249.1 x 167.8 x 12.9 mm and weight 730grams but no price available yet.
