AMD Bulldozer Beat Intel Core i7 950

Advance Micro Device (AMD) since 2005 develop a new core processor called Bulldozer architechture and now finally get ready. They said it’s 50% faster than Intel Core i7 and AMD Phenom II processor.

This AMD Bulldozer is a high performance CPU with 8-cores compares to 4-core, 8-thread Intel Core i7 950 and 6-core Phenom II X6 1100T which tested in media, rendering and games. The result varied depend on the task but this Bulldozer defeat the Core i7 950. For information the Core i7 950 featuring 3.06GHz (up to 3.33 GHz with Turbo Boost technology), 8MB L3 cache, and tri-channel memory controller.
Unfortunately the spec of AMD Bulldozer is not known yet. In the future this chip will be used on AMD 9-series motherboard chipset like M3+ socket, MSI already presenting such a board to the world.
