New Asus Eee Pad Tablet PCs and Handheld Slate Devices Announced

The Asus Eee Pad Slider computer features a 10.1” IPS touch-screen, but also boasts a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The device is powered by the NVIDIA Tegra 2 mobile processor with a dual-core CPU and NVIDIA GeForce GPU. The Eee Pad Slider tablet has a front front-facing 1.2MP camera and a rear 5MP camera for both video chat and digital photography on the unit. This model will ship with the Google Android 3.0 operating system.

ASUS Eee Pad TransformerSporting a 10.1” capacitive touch-screen, the versatile Eee Pad Transformer computer also features of the Android 3.0 operating system, and includes the NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset and full support for Adobe Flash. As you can see, there is an optional docking station available that turns the Transformer into a full notebook with a QWERTY keyboard for desktop use, and it extens battery life to up to 16 hours. This model has a 1.2MP camera in front, and and rear 5MP digital camera, and it has a built-in mini-HDMI port.

ASUS Eee Pad MeMOThe Eee Pad MeMO is a portable tablet with a 7.1” capacitive touch-screen and it's comes with a stylus pen, Android 3.0 operating system, and a Micro HDMI port.

ASUS Eee Slate EP121The Eee Slate EP121 is powered by an Intel Core i5 dual-core processor, and features a 12.1” LED-backlit display with a 1280 x 800 resolution and a wide 178° viewing angle. this model ships with Windows 7 Home Premium OS, a capacitive stylus for  precision input and control, and it supports external Bluetooth keyboards.

The Eee Slate is available with 32GB or 64GB of SSD storage (expandable via SDXC), and up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM. All models have 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, a 2-megapixel camera, two USB 2.0 ports, and a mini-HDMI port.
