Stepping into the shoes of the Z800 EXR, the new FinePix Z900 EXR comes in an eye-catching high gloss finish and offers a wide selection of Fujifilm's latest technologies to help deliver great images in all conditions. Specification highlights include a brand new EXR CMOS sensor, 5x wide-angle zoom lens, touch-screen LCD with improved user interface, a selection of high speed shooting modes and high quality video capture all packed into a slim body that'll fit neatly into a bag or pocket. Meaning style-conscious photographers nolonger have to compromise looks for picture quality.

High Sensitivity
-With conventional sensor design, light has to pass through a layer of wiring before it reaches the photo diodes. This reduces the amount of light hitting the sensor. But with a BSI (Backside Illumination) sensor, the wiring layer and photo diodes are reversed so sensitivity is improved; a benefit that'sparticularly obvious when shooting in low light conditions.


High Speed
-Thanks to newly developed EXR Processor and BSI-CMOS, super fast transfer circuit made it possible for fast process and reading the files.  The real benefit here is; it can take high speed shooting and Full HD movie.






Intelligent Processor
-The camera can now recognize 27 scenes including blue sky (sky), green leaves (greenery), sunsets and even backlit scenes. According to each scene, camera can set the perfect setting (AF, exposure, white balance and flash) and take the best quality picture automatically. Therefore, all you needto do is press the shutter and you will get the perfect finish easily.
-The EXR processor also has the capability to spot and reduce purple colour fringing, most common on dark subjects against light backgrounds, and improves the resolution at the corners of an image for more uniform image sharpness.
-Perhaps the most obvious benefit of the EXR processor, however, is the new Rich User Interface, which employs Vector fonts and graphics to dramatically improve the appearance of the menus. Users can wave goodbye to pixellated graphics and enjoy smooth text and icons on the camera's menus, now presented on a LCD screen.
-For users whostruggle to find images on increasingly-large capacity memory cards, improved image searching capabilities will come in very handy. Now, searching through thousands of images can take seconds, not minutes. Once you've found the shots, it's easy to put them in to a photobook using the Photobook Assist function where the camera creates the book, tags the images.


3.5 inch LCD: a touch of class
Fujifilm has harnessed the very latest touch-screen technology on the FinePix Z900 EXR. The large, full-flat 3.5 inch wide (16:9) LCD has 460,000 dots for high image quality, plus it adds Multi Touch functionality to make it even easier to check sharpness and clarity on your shots. With the Z900 EXR you can use two fingers to expand and reduce image size or simply swipe from side-to-side to scroll through your shots,iPhone-style.

How many shots have you missedbecause your current compact hasn't been able to keep up with the action? The FinePix Z900 EXR makes missed shots a thing of the past thanks to its selectionof features for super-fast capture.



You can shoot up to 3 frames at3 frames per second 16 megapixel resolution, which will ensure you keep up with even the fastest action. Speed demons won't be disappointed by the high speed video function either with an incredible 320 frames per second available, which will stop anything in its tracks.



Fujifilm recognises that theworld doesn't just revolve around still images, which is why the FinePix Z900 EXR features high quality Full HD video capability especially under low lightcondition with Pixel Fusion Movie technology.  Here, pixels are doubled up to make them more sensitive to low light so it is perfect for the night party season!  Also, it can save as the H.264 format; which don't take up as much room on the memory card as a conventional AVI file. Not only does this mean you can shoot more high quality 1080p footage, it's easier to share with friends and family via sites like YouTube, or by simply plugging the camera straight into aHDTV.
Coming in five high glosscolours – black, red, white, pink or blue - there's a FinePix Z900 EXR to suit everyone (and every outfit!), plus its ultra slim body measuring just 18.2mm wide is easy to take anywhere. (Without the projection portion of the lens, it is 15.2mm thick)

Despite these svelte proportions, the Z900 EXR still manages to pack in a 5x wide-angle zoom lens covering 28-140mm (35mm equivalent) so you'll be ready to capture everything from group shots to tightly-cropped head and shoulders portraits. Plus, there's no need to worry about the battery running out half way through your evening; it now offers an improved life of approximately 220 frames per charge. Absolutely fabulous!
