Tech accessory manufacturer Logitech has announced that it will soon be selling two new high-end tablet keyboard accessories, providing the potential to turn a tablet into more of a production device, rather than just a media consumption console.

Logitech Keyboard Case
The Logitech Keyboard case will be available exclusively for the iPad 2. It is a direct successor to the ZAGGmate Keyboard Case for the original iPad, and Logitech has decided to rebrand the product with its own moniker this time around.

The Logitech Keyboard Case features a unique design that fits over the front of the iPad 2. When being used as a keyboard, the case is detached and the iPad 2 is placed in a recess that props it up, allowing a user to view the screen while typing. The Logitech Keyboard Case connects over Bluetooth, and will cost $100.

Logitech Tablet Keyboard
The Logitech Tablet Keyboard will be available for both the iPad 2 and Android devices running Honeycomb. It will also connect to a tablet via a Bluetooth connection, and comes with a combination case/stand. It is less costly than the Keyboard Case, and will retail for $70.

More from Logitech
In addition to the wireless keyboards above, Logitech also has plans to roll out several other new tablet accessories. Also on tap are the Logitech Wireless Speaker, which has an MSRP of $100 and works with both the iPad and Android tablets, and the Logitech Tablet Mouse, which is designed specifically for tablets running the most updated version of Android (3.1 Honeycomb) and will come with an MSRP of $50.

Availability
All of the accessories mentioned should become available to U.S. customers sometime in May, with international availability following in June (except for the Tablet Keyboard for Android and the Logitech Tablet Mouse, both of which will only be available domestically).
