No, the Samsung ST30 is nowhere near a dream camera. It is low cost (99$) and offres the very minimum specs we could possibly imagine for a camera in 2011 : 10 megapxels sensor, 3x zoom lens (yet, starting at 28mm), small 2.4" LCD screen with a tiny resolution of only 112 000 dots and a VGA only video resolution.

Yes, the camera is quite small and lightweight.

For $149, the Samsung ST90 duplicates the main part of the ST65 technical specifications except that it gets a slightly more wide-angle lens (5x, 26-130mm) and an even slimmer ody (16.5mm thick). It still doesn't have any optical image stabilization.
